This map, which comes from Windy, is set to display current temperatures as expected by the ECMWF model. Remember that it is only a model, but it will give you a general idea of what you can expect.
The map by default is centered on the Pacific Northwest. You can click and drag to move the map around and use the + and – buttons at the top right corner to change the zoom. To view the forecast, you can click play at the bottom left corner to view a loop, or click along the line above the key at the bottom to select a specific time. You can also click on the map to get the forecast for that specific point.
To view different conditions (wind, precipitation, etc.), click where it says temperature at the top right corner where a menu will open up where you can choose from a huge variety of different weather conditions. The most common to use are the main options (Wind, Temperature, Clouds, etc.) with other options under those topics when you click on them.
