About Me

About Me

Me in Salt Lake City, March 2016.

Hi all, I’m Mark. I have been obsessed with weather ever since I can remember. I grew up in a military family and have lived all over. I claim Kennewick, Washington as home but currently live in Fernley, Nevada and am going to school online at Brigham Young University – Idaho.

Aside from weather I enjoy wilderness adventures. I’ve climbed mountains (such as Mount Adams), and I’ve gone on backpacking trips that last several days. I am a general-class amateur radio operator. I also Geocache, and recently hit 900 finds.

I occasionally blog for a few radio stations in the Tri-Cities. Those posts are usually aimed at local folks there. On here, I pretty much blog about whatever catches my fancy. It might be local to me, or it might not be. It’s pretty much about whatever I feel like.

Thanks for stopping by.
