Here is a list of weather models I like to look at when trying to pin down a difficult forecast. Be aware that many of these will require a more-than-basic knowledge of meteorology and that while models are useful, no model is perfect.
- WeatherTogether provides several products from weather models.
- NAM Relative Humidity and 700mb height (Univ. of Washington)
- Storm Prediction Center model page. (Note opening page will say it is not found, but the links to the models still work)
- NAM and GFS forecast precipitation type
- GFS numerical output. (Link will go to Pasco/Tri-Cities Airport. You will need to enter your closest airport’s ICAO code, which can usually be found on Wikipedia.)
- Wetterzentrale models page.
- WeatherOnline models page.
- Tropical Tidbits models page.
- NCAR Ensemble
- Pivotal Weather models page.
- Cambridge balloon predictor.
